1. Introduction
ContentFlow Automator ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit contentflowautomator.com or use our AI-powered content publishing platform.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: your name and email address when you create an account or sign in.
- Site configuration: the directory site you connect, its URL, plus the theme, target audience, tone, keywords, editorial notes and partner links you give us.
- Publishing credentials: the API credential for your Brilliant Directories site. It is stored securely, used only to publish the posts you approve, and never shown back to you in full.
- Content data: the drafts we generate for you, their hero images, review feedback, and the posts we publish to your site.
- Connected accounts: if you connect a publishing channel such as LinkedIn, we receive an access token and the basic profile and page information needed to publish on your behalf.
- Billing information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive the plan, its status and the last four digits of a card, never your full card details.
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, browser type, IP address and approximate location.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the site is used.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate and improve the content automation service.
- To generate article drafts, images and metadata from the brief you give us.
- To publish posts to your connected site on the schedule you set.
- To manage your subscription, process payments and prevent abuse.
- To send transactional and service messages, and marketing messages you have opted into.
- To respond to enquiries and provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. AI Processing
Drafts and images are produced with the help of third-party artificial intelligence models. To do that, we send your brief, keywords, editorial notes and any text you ask us to work on to those providers. We do not permit them to use your content to train their public models, and we do not sell it.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as AI model providers, our hosting and database providers, email delivery services, and Stripe for payments, each under confidentiality obligations. We also send your content to the destinations you choose, such as your Brilliant Directories site or a LinkedIn page you connect, when you publish. We may disclose information where required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including storing site credentials in a restricted store that only our publishing service can read. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
9. Children's Privacy
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
